The Town may post seasonal road restrictions to protect local roads, especially during the spring thaw.

Seasonal Road Weight Limits

Seasonal road weight limits go into effect when posted to help preserve Town roads during vulnerable weather and thaw conditions.

When posted, Town roads are limited to:

  • 6 tons for one axle
  • 10 tons for any two axles under 8 feet apart

Restrictions remain in place until road conditions allow them to be lifted. Notice will be provided when the bans are removed.

No Thru Truck Restrictions

The Town has adopted a no-through-truck ordinance for 450th Avenue and 710th Street.
